The number of sessions varies from patient to patient. Your doctor will consult with you to determine how many sessions you will require to achieve the results you desire.

No sedation is required for a Vbeam™ procedure.

You will be treated on an outpatient basis.

You may experience some temporary discoloration or reddening, swelling, skin sensitivity and increased warmth immediately following the procedure. These side effects will subside in time.

There are minimal risks with a Vbeam™ procedure.

There is minimal recovery time with a Vbeam™ procedure and you should be able to resume normal activity immediately. You should take care to avoid sun exposure during your treatment period and you should not scrub the skin for a few days after treatment. Ice can be used to decrease discomfort.

Vbeam™ results are permanent.
