Winter Newsletter 2018

We hope everyone stayed warm and safe during the latest snow! It might seem a little strange to talk about spring and summer at this time of year, but over the years we have had a lot of patients call or come in interested in a surgery or procedure only to tell us they have a special event they want to be healed up and ready for in a few weeks. It is always hard to tell them that is not a realistic goal.

You and your health are important to us. Most procedures have some recovery time, from several weeks to several months, so we encourage our patients to give themselves plenty of time to:

  • have a Consult – talk about your options
  • Consider the options
  • Commit to a plan and schedule the procedure(s)
  • Complete the plan including time for the recovery and healing process

So now is a great time to come in to talk about the things that concern you. Procedures that are popular this time of year are Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, and Breast Reduction. Also this time of year is a good time to complete liposuction procedures which require wearing a compression garment during recovery.

Many patients look to do their facial rejuvenation procedures, facelift, eyelid surgery, neck lift, laser treatments now so they are ready for upcoming class reunion, family celebrations, weddings, a trip or sometimes it is something the patient has been thinking about for a long time. Call us for an appointment and find out what is available to fix your concerns.

A lot of information is available online and at your fingertips but you may not find out what procedures are safe to combine, what new techniques are available, that some surgeries can be done safely without general anesthesia or that the procedure you think will fix your issue really won’t. That is why a consultation is so important and the first step in any cosmetic or reconstructive journey.
